Pastry Course Day Eleven: Piping Skills
We started with the third part of the course this week, the course about Piping Skills. In this first lesson we learned all about Royal Icing and all the beautiful things we can create with it.
I’ve already decorated many cakes using piping, but I actually only know a few techniques while the possibilities with piping are endless. There is a lot more for me to know and learn!
During the lesson I practiced piping with several piping tips, round, starshaped etc. It went pretty well, but some techniques are still quite difficult! It was a nice and quiet day during which everyone was working really focused. Next week we’re going to do some color flow and make some shapes out of sugar. Can’t wait!
