Smooth Chocolate and Baileys Buttercream
This smooth chocolate buttercream spiked with Baileys just melts in your mouth. It’s chocolate, but with a nice smooth hint of caramel from the Baileys.
To make this easy buttercream you’ll need, powdered chocolate (the real stuff), Baileys, confectioners’ sugar and butter.
Add your butter to a bowl.
Start mixing the butter with an electric mixer.
Once the butter is creamy you can add your flavours to it.
First up, add the confectioners’ sugar.
And the powdered chocolate.
Mix it all up.
And add the Baileys.
Now all you need to do is mix it some more till it is nice smooth and creamy like this!
That wasn’t that hard now was it? If you’re not into alcohol you can always substitute the Baileys for milk and you’ll have a nice and smooth chocolate buttercream that’ll taste delicious as well.
You can use this as a topping for cupcakes or as a filling for cake.
