  1. Put some paper towel into a large bowl and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan put a little bit of oil, enough to coat the entire bottom. Turn on a moderate heat.
  3. Add 1 tbsp of popcorn kernels to the saucepan and put on a lid. When you hear the popcorn kernels pop shake the pan lightly (don’t take off the lid!).
  4. When the popping slows down (approx. 3 seconds in between the next pop) take of the heat and transfer to the large bowl to cool down.
  5. Repeat the process with the rest of the kernels.
